Income Continuance

The income continuance plan provides you with an income if you are unable to work due to a total disability that lasts for more than 30 days. (During the first 30 days you may be eligible for company-paid sick leave based on your earned entitlement.)

Because you pay the cost of your income continuance coverage any benefit you receive is not subject to income tax.
